Ministry Commitment Card

At Southside, we are committed to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. We believe a great commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will build a great church. The Great Commandment is to love God and love others. The Great Great Commission is to go into all the world making disciples of all people. The Great Commandment demands that we demonstrate the love of Christ, while the Great Commission reminds us of the universal need for salvation found only through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Ministry Commitment Card has a list of ministries in which members of Southside currently serve. Please take a moment to fill out this card and let us know how you'd like to serve during the 2019-2020 church year.

Walk This Way

When Jesus called His disciples, He said, “follow me,” and they did. For three years they followed Him all over the Judean countryside. One scholar believes Jesus and the disciples walked more than 3,100 miles in three years, and while that is a lot of steps, people today frequently travel that distance in just a few hours! It’s been two thousand years since the disciples walked the streets of Jerusalem and people are more mobile now than ever. But being mobile isn’t the same as following Jesus. The question today isn’t whether or not believers are going, it is whether or not we are following Jesus. Join us for a four-week series exploring what it means walk like Jesus.
