Holy Week Celebration

As Holy Week begins, we invite you to join us to remember the life and death of Jesus.

Holy Week Events

Stations of the Cross  |  open through Sunday, April 1

Join us on a mini pilgrimage, praying through the Stations of the Cross.

Maundy Thursday Service  |  Thursday, March 29, 7:00 p.m.

Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter, believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated His final Passover with the disciples. Most notably, that Passover meal  marked the time that Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an extraordinary display of humility.

Good Friday Service  |  Friday, March 30, 7:30 p.m.

Join us at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church (4001 Hendricks Ave 32207) for a Good Friday service as we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (1 John 1:10).

Easter Sunday

If you’ve been thinking about beginning or renewing your faith journey, Easter Sunday is the perfect day to begin, and we'd love to invite you to start with us at Southside. We know many of our neighbors have given up on religion and the church, but that doesn't mean you've given up on God -- and the message of Easter is that He certainly has not given up on you!

While you've likely passed under the shadow of our steeple while strolling through San Marco Square or heard our church bells play at noon and five, if you haven't been inside, you're missing the best part! We are a church committed to loving everyone always because we worship the God who placed ultimate value on every person. We'd love to walk beside you on the Way!

  • 7:00 a.m. SONrise Service in San Marco Square (limited seating. Bring a lawn chair!)
  • 8:30 a.m. Worship in the Sanctuary (no childcare)
  • 9:45 a.m. Small groups for all ages
  • 11:00 a.m. Worship in the sanctuary (childcare for babies through 4 years old)

Can't make it in person? We have you covered. We will be streaming live at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
