Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst." John 6:35
God loves a good dinner party. From the feasts in the Old Testament to Jesus' meals with "sinner and tax collectors" in the New, the Bible informs us that God loves sharing His table. In our fast food culture we are at risk of missing the power and symbolism of the table. At Southside Baptist Church we want to recapture the value of a shared meal and meaningful dinner conversation.
Join us on Wednesday evenings in the Maguire Fellowship Center for a worship experience around the dinner table. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. (RESERVATIONS must be made by 1:00 p.m. on Sundays), followed by a time of worship, prayer and an interactive teaching led by Pastor Gary. Even if you choose not to eat, come anyway, grab some tea or coffee and engage in meaningful conversation that is sure to feed your soul.
